Delete your account

Permanently delete your Bogey Logger account and the cloud data associated with it.

Delete your account in the app

Open Bogey Logger and go to Me → Account → Delete Account. Follow the identity-confirmation steps and approve the final deletion warning.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

Email birdie@bogeylogger.com from the email address associated with your Bogey Logger account whenever possible.

Use the subject Bogey Logger account deletion request and include the account email address and display name. We may ask for additional information to verify that you own the account.

Never send us your password, sign-in code, payment-card information, or Apple/Google account password.

What we delete

After verifying the request, we delete the Bogey Logger account and account-associated cloud data under our control, including:

Authentication account and account identifiers.
Profile information and privacy preferences.
Friend code, email lookup entry, friend relationships, and pending friend requests.
Private cloud backups of rounds and saved courses.
Notifications, device push tokens, subscription entitlement status, trial records, and scorecard-scan usage records.

Data that may remain

Data on your device: rounds, courses, and other local app data remain on the device until you clear Bogey Logger's storage or uninstall the app. We cannot erase device-only data remotely.
Community course data: course information already contributed to the shared course library may remain as reference data. We will remove account-linked attribution where technically available. You may identify a specific contribution in your email if you also want it reviewed for removal.
Store transaction records: Apple or Google may retain purchase and transaction records under their own legal and accounting obligations. Those records are controlled by the applicable store.
Required retention: limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance with law. Any retained information remains protected and is deleted when no longer required.

Subscriptions must be canceled separately

Deleting your Bogey Logger account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings to prevent future renewal charges.

Processing time

We will acknowledge your request and aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will email you when processing is complete or if we need information to verify the account.
